After more than a decade of presenting lectures, James L.
Nelson has developed a reputation as a dynamic and entertaining speaker. He
has spoken to hundreds of groups around the country, and has been featured
on The History Channel, The Discovery Channel and C-Span's Book TV.
Nelson has given talks on a wide range of subjects, including piracy, naval
action of the American Revolution and the Civil War, maritime history and
literature as well as discussions of the craft and process of writing.
